How does it work?

2. Building assessment
We compare your building’s actual operating costs with those of a similarly sized property, highlighting overpayments and helping identify potential inefficiencies.
3. Book an on-site visit
For a more accurate calculation, we can book an on-site visit to highlight where your property is losing you money.
What do we check for?
- Running costs – From recent bills, we calculate how much you should be paying. This will indicate whether you are overpaying and require an on-site visit, during which we will check the following:
- Keep the water out – Are hidden issues affecting your building? Dampness and moisture can cause knock-on effects elsewhere. With an on-site visit, we check the usual culprits alongside the hidden problem areas.
- Keep the heat in – Using thermal imaging, we can detect problem areas where heat loss happens. By minimising this, you can reduce energy consumption.
- Ventilation levels – Is your building providing a healthy environment for its occupants? Indoor air quality can have a major impact on both health and productivity. If your airflow suffers, so do your employees and tenants.
- Building fabric condition – How structurally sound is the core of your building? External walls, roofs, floors, windows and doors can all cause problems to the office condition.
